  • My wife and I had the opportunity to walk through this church and very much enjoyed the experience. We would strongly urge visitors to Quebec to visit - we do not think you will be disappointed.

  • So calm and beautiful! It is such a wonderful feeling to be in Canada's oldest church. You can spend an hour here, just sitting with awe in front of the gold-plated apse. There is also a small museum on-site dedicated to the church's 375-year-old history and the story of Quebec's first bishop Francois de Laval. Best of all, it's completely free!
  • Absolutely beautiful. I didn't take any photos inside cos, for me, it felt wrong. Most definitely worth seeing. If for no other reason, regardless of your religious persuasion, pay the money, light a candle and talk to your God (or whoever/whatever it is that you believe in).
