Very beautiful Garden, one of the best places I visited. Can spend around 2-3 hours inside the park. Lot of varieties of flowers and trees, including beautiful ponds and mazes. Got to know the names of different plants, very peaceful and clean. Parking lot was very big and it's free. Must visit parks in Vancouver and if you have children it's mandatory to visit, they will learn lot of new things, loved it.
The staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable! There are maps of the garden so it is easy to navigate, and even in the rain and snow it's a beautiful garden to visit! They have several areas where you can see water lilies when they're in bloom and for the past few years I've returned with my family to get pictures of them because they're always so beautiful and well cared for! In the winter they do a festival of lights and it's always vibrant and whimsical to walk through the garden to see what they've done! (And they bring in a mini doughnut seller so that makes it twice as fun). Spring visits are always a joy because they go all out with their spring flowers! And they have a bee hive area as well as a garden where they grow specialized fruits and veggies that you won't necessarily see anywhere else!
