Ještěd (Czech pronunciation: [ˈjɛʃcɛt]; German: Jeschken) is the highest mountain of the Ještěd–Kozákov Ridge in the north of the Czech Republic, at 1,012 m (3,320 ft). It is the symbol of the city of Liberec.

On the summit is the Ještěd Tower restaurant, hotel and television tower, designed by Karel Hubáček, accessible by road or cable car (Ještěd Cable car). The mountain also has a ski resort. From the summit there are views to Germany and Poland.

    This was a great trip. This is sooo beautiful. I walked to the hill, but there is the ropeway for people who don't want to walk.

    Ikonický vysílač, traily dolů na kole, a když vám vyjde počasí, tak to je velká paráda, vyzkoušeli jsme i kruhovou restauraci s top výhledem a jednou snad otestujeme i ten stylový hotel ve vysílači...

    Tremendous view. Spaceship has landed. Already in 1973! Time stood still here. A must for fans of extraordinary architecture. The rooms are great, but do yourself a favor and take a big one. It’s worth it. I love that place.
