Inspirational and architecturally significant, Infant Jesus of Prague dates back to the 17th century and remains a fine example of Baroque architecture. Most visitors come to see a waxwork statue of infant Jesus, brought here from Spain in the 1620s. The church's main claim to fame, this figure is said to have protected the city from plague outbreaks and the destruction caused elsewhere by the Thirty Years' War. The focus of worldwide attention, the figure attracts a steady stream of religious travelers, arriving from as far away as Latin America. Don't miss the onsite museum, housing dozens of costumes used to dress up the statue for various religious occasions. Beautiful church includes small doll of the Christ child. The icon has been known for performing miracles and is very precious to the Prague religious community.

Very famous and beautiful church in Prague. A must visit. English services at various times. It is possible to have a mass said for a loved one or friend. (Go to the back of the church and see the priest). There is a gift shop on the left hand side before you enter the church.
Mum is very devout of the Baby Jesus. This was an amazing and uplifting experience for her. Super happy to have been able to take her there. The Image is currently in mourning for the situation in Ukrain but no less beautiful for it. We went upstairs and saw samples of the many robes donated and the explanation of how they change according to the religious calendar.
