Hispaniola Aquatic Adventures, Punta Cana

We had an amazing time. We booked the private catamaran tour through our hotel. We were 4 people. Cost was $675US for 3.5 hours on boat, 4.5 hours round trip with transportation and a few min at the flea market where you board the boat. The boat can accommodate 35 people if you do the group tour so having only 4 was very luxurious. So much space to dance around, you can play whatever music you want, etc. I saw other reviews where people said they paid less which I'm surprised. At this price it still seemed reasonable given the excellent food, service, and size of the boat. The price of $675 is less than what the hotel said was the list price ($750). There was a captain plus 2 more crew. The food came from a kitchen boat that pull along side us. It's part of the same company and the food was our best meal on the trip. Now the food at our resort isn't great and the seafood is fishy at the resort but here it was excellent. The steak was also good. I can't say enough about the staff. They are energetic, good hosts, and made it a special experience for us. The boat was clean, had a clean washroom, slide from the upper deck into the water, and shade if desired. Would not hesitate to go back.

Great excursion. We were picked up from our resort on time, took a 15 minute ride and we were on our boat within minutes of arriving. The 3 guys on our boat were fun and professional. Snorkeled for about 45 minutes, stopped at a beach for fresh coconut drinks, had a great fresh seafood lunch on the boat and then stopped at a fresh natural pool beach to swim and continue the drinks. The place you get on and off the boat has some small shops and they gave us 15 minutes to shop if you wanted but didn’t pressure you one bit. Hands down, we would do this again and recommend it to friends. We booked through their website directly and used what’s app to communicate beforehand. We paid $100 per person and we had our private boat for the 10 of Us. We tipped on top of that. Great half day excursion!!
