St. Mary s Catholic Church, Stanley

Located near the center of Stanley, St. Mary s Catholic Church remains the only Catholic place of worship on the Falkland Islands. Built in 1899, the structure represents a classic example of Victorian kit building. The modest walls enclose a wooden interior where light pierces stained glass to create a peaceful atmosphere.
