Yesterday I looked at the exhibition about Ernst Kreidolf. Never before had I been able to get such a comprehensive impression of this painter of flowers and flower creatures, dwarves, elves and fairies. In addition to drawings, many watercolors and some oil paintings can be admired and you also get an insight into his curriculum vitae. The exhibition is rounded off with a room in which life-size costumes for a performance with his flower creatures can be seen. Those who know the picture books of this painter can put themselves in this world again in a deeper way. Of course, the pictures are also a very nice enrichment for non-experts.
