This is a great place to spend the day, especially when all of the flowers are blooming. The island has numerous paths to wander through the flowers trees, and along the water. There are big playgrounds for children and plenty of places to grab food or an afternoon drink. We didn't go into the main house but the palm garden was amazing and the butterfly house was worth waiting in line for. Highly recommend!

In the Mainau Insel this is a beautiful building. Nice café inside and exposition of hand craft stuff. Nice view to Lake Konstanz
