Alpine Coaster Oberammergau, Oberammergau

Fantastic fun and fantastic views at the top of the Alpine Coaster, near Oberammergau. A lift chair takes you high up the mountain, or if you are hearty enough, you can hike, or take a special cable for cyclists. Once at the top, you can take this Alpine Coaster back down. It is very easy, very safe, and lots of fun. You are strapped in with a seat belt, and a simple brake allows you to slow down if you wish, or speed up again once you get used to the speed, turns and the views. You can buy a ticket for more than one go, and if you buy a ticket for just one run, you may wish you'd have bought more than one, it was so good!

So great, one of the best alpine coasters I have been on. Great view, long ride. The kids loved it. Also, nice playground for kids and restaurant at the top to grab a drink.
