Teddys Rothenburg, Rothenburg

One of two teddy shops in town (how excellent!), and they are both very distinct and each worth a visit. There is some brand overlap, mainly of the less expensive brands, but each one has their own specialities that you won't find in the other. Boy oh boy, did these shops open my eyes to the world of gorgeous (and EXPENSIVE o.o) Teddy collecting. Be prepared to go in for sticker shock, and then ask the people at the counter to tell you a little about them. They're super friendly, and you might learn something about Teddy bears you never knew! I sure did. You might also consider a hand-made, made in Germany bear as your big souvenir, especially if nothing else has struck your fancy. Visit both before you buy. Each shop also offers unique Rothenburg-inspired bears.

I planned a stop in this lovely town with my husband in our trip to Germany, with the greatest surprise of finding this place there. I'm a bear lover and collector and I was in heaven. Great selection, AMAZING decor and you'll definitely will find a teddy for everyone you can think of. Their staff is SUPER friendly and helpful ( not in all places are so tourist open or will even allow to take pictures). Of course I bought a Teddy....or two...;) but is a must Stop once you're in such a lovely town.
