Visit a number of historic landmarks in one stop at Heroes' Square, where you can see the Museum of Fine Arts, the Palace of Art, and City Park. This square, a popular spot for tourists, also features the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the statue of Archangel Gabriel, and the Millennium Monument, which opened in 1896. The adjacent City Park is a World Heritage Site. Besides its own historical relevance, this square is also the meeting place of a number of cultural centers. It is flanked on both sides by competing art museums and faces out to the famous Andrassy Avenue. Situated towards the end of the M1 metro line, this a great spot to see and take pics. Huge, wide open space with statues to Hungarian heroes. If going to the Szechenyi thermal baths, you can exit...

Saw this often as we were moving about the city, never had the urge to explore it further, looked like a great big empty space with statues. The place the hop on and off bus makes you change!

Impressive square with a historical significance. There are seven sculptures on each side that depict people that played a role in Hungarian history. There are a lot of attractions in walking distance such as the, City park, House of music, Vajdahunyad Castle, Museum of Fine Arts and more.

Im giving this a four star as although the monuments are spectacular, and very akin to Vatican city style pillars that curve, there is a huge square that could be much more vibrant but remains bear. Fisherman's Bastion was much more impressive in my opinion.
