Visit the former prison Amnasuraka Museum where officers of Saddam Hussein tortured Kurds under his regime. Go through the tunnel where you can see nearly 200,000 pieces of glass on the walls. Each piece of the mirror on the wall stands for one person killed. On the ceiling, more than 5,000 bulbs represent villages that Hussein's troops destroyed. In some cells there are sculptures depicting torture methods and prisoners. You can also walk around the yard where the watchtower still stands. Amnasuraka Museum is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , custom trip planner Edition.
