A nice lake in Kurdistan. There is not much to do, just a few boats. No shelter and the water was too cold to swim ?We were here in April). What most people do is a boat ride. Some are slow, some very fast. We took the fast boat and they charged us 5000 Iraqi liras for 3 min boat ride. You don’t see anything on the boat that you won’t see from the shore so I won’t recommend it.

My favorite destination to enjoy the beauty of the nature of Kurdistan in the city of Sulaymaniyah .. The purity of the air and the calmness of the area makes you feel serenity .. The place needs to develop and add camping places and services .. You can rent a boat at a price of 30 thousand to reach near the dam or 50 thousand to reach the islands .. If you like Fishing there, as the lake is rich in types of fish... I highly recommend it for travel and camping herbs
