The time zone changes from West Africa Standard Time (WAT) to Central Africa Time (CAT), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Traveling from Lagos in January, things will get little chillier in Ruhengeri: highs are around 27°C and lows about 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Sat) early enough to drive to Kibuye.
