Traveling by car from Kigali to Kibuye takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and car. While traveling from Kigali, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Kibuye, ranging from highs of 27°C to lows of 19°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Ruhengeri.

Most tourism in Ruhengeri revolves around the famous national park, which shelters mountain gorillas of the volcanic Virunga range.
