Islamabad — 24 nights

The country's capital since 1963, Islamabad has the look and feel of a planned administrative city because, by and large, that's exactly what it is.Change things up with these side-trips from Islamabad: Miranjani (in Abbottabad), Rawalpindi (Army Central Library, Jinnah Park, &more) and Pir Sohawa (in Haripur). Spend the 28th (Fri) wandering through the wild on Exploria. There's still lots to do: get great views at Daman-e-Koh, admire the engineering at Rawal Lake, wander the streets of Saidpur Village, and appreciate the history behind Pakistan monument.
