Albany is the capital of the U.S. state of New York and the seat of Albany County. Venture out of the city with trips to Norman Rockwell Museum (in Stockbridge), The Clark Art Institute (in Williamstown) and Westfield (Stanley park & Grandmother's Garden). The adventure continues: take an in-depth tour of USS Slater DE-766, take some stellar pictures from Bennington Battle Monument, immerse yourself in nature at Saratoga Spa State Park, and go for a walk through Ulysses S. Grant Cottage National Historic Landmark.

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Dedicate the 22nd (Thu) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. The adventure continues: admire the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass, get interesting insight from Tours, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Seattle Aquarium, and walk around Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.
