Venture out of the city with trips to Innsbruck (Town Tower (Stadtturm), The Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl), &more) and Pfarramt Soll (in Soll). Nottingham, UK to Salzburg is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or do a combination of car and train. The time zone changes from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a 1 hour difference. While traveling from Nottingham, expect somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Salzburg, ranging from highs of 26°C to lows of 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Wed) early enough to drive to Hallstatt.

You can drive from Salzburg to Hallstatt in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a train. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Fri) so you can catch the flight back home.
