La Gran Sultana

The lakeside city of Granada has the look and feel of a historically important economic and political center, with grand colonial architecture, a unified look, and many cultural attractions.
Step out of Granada with an excursion to Apoyo in La Laguna de Apoyo--about 36 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: get impressive views of Mombacho, pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral de Granada, shop like a local with Galeria Mi Camara Mi Mundo, and see the interesting displays at Centro Cultural Antiguo Convento San Francisco.
