Pelhřimov is a town located approximately halfway between Prague and Brno. On the 10th (Wed), step into the grandiose world of Hrad Kamen, then enjoy breathtaking views from St Bartholomew's Church Tower, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Poutni misto Kremesnik. Here are some ideas for day two: don't miss a visit to Kloster Zeliv, explore the historical opulence of Castle Orlik u Humpolce, steep yourself in history at Gate of Holy Mother, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of the Assumption, and finally explore the historical opulence of Rostejn Castle.
