Home to over 260 different animal species, Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens stands as the most diverse privately owned zoo in the UK. Here you can explore 65 hectares (160 acres) of exhibits. The aviary houses include a Humboldt penguin enclosure and the Tropical House, containing lush vegetation, colorful birds, and free-roaming sloths. Head through Woodland Walk to see South American species, such as the giant anteater and Brazilian tapir. In other exhibits, spot Asiatic lions, white rhinoceroses, zebras, and giraffes. As you make your way around the premises, take time to admire the many exotic plantings in the various gardens. Make sure you also leave time to ride the narrow-gauge railway, which is just under 1.6 km (1 mi) and passes California redwood trees and giant rhubarbs. Book your zoo admission ticket online to avoid waiting in line at the entrance. Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens reviews
We visited the park on Bank Holiday Monday and although it was super busy, the way the whole area is laid out we managed to see everything and stayed until closing. Yes there were queues at lunch...

Amazing experience Huge park with a lot to do and see. Closer to the animals than you expect. Fairly priced nowadays and overall one of the best zoo, wildlife parks we have been too. Very recommended

Amazing day out, it felt so open and wonderful to feel so close to the animals. It was refreshing to see it's dog friendly too. Nice selection in the cafe, tasty salad bar. Best baby changing facilities, 3 purpose built changing tables and lots of room in the main toilet block. As with most zoo's I've been too recently, not having a timed entry means it can be busy, and social distancing is left to individuals common sense. Well looked after, wonderful selection of animals.
The Cotswold Wildlife Park is a lovely place to go to if you are looking to see some beautiful and different animals and insects. The whole place is very well maintained. It is clean and tidy everywhere and there wasn't a blade of grass out of place. The staff were happy and helpful and couldn't do enough to help and the play area was also a big plus for us. Highly recommend. Many thanks
