  • A good museum with great displays. I particularly liked the videos of craftsman showing how things were made next to the actual objects you can touch. We spent about 4 hours going around but did stop for a cup of tea at the adjoining cafe. A good museum with some fine mosaics.
  • Hidden gem. We were surprised at the offering and deep insight into the Roman period within UK and in particular around Cotswold. Presentation of each aspect of the Roman life with constructs, exhibits and in many many real items makes this a hidden gem for history enthusiasts. There are additional rooms for Anglo-Saxon periods. Highly recommended.
