  • Great place to come and walk the dog. You have parking here but you have to pay. Nice walk a little muddy in places. There is a cafe on route. The locks are very interesting.

  • Decided to walk the locks on a hot day which was s poor decision on our part but other than that had a great and invigorating walk down the locks and back to the cafe and car park, had about 20 mins to spare on our 2 hour parking ticket so not enough time to visit the cafe which was a shame. Moved vehicle to local pub and sat with drink overlooking the locks
  • Excellent, if you love a gentle stroll up and down the canal watching the boats navigating the locks. Chat to the owners or to the lock volunteers who will happily talk you through the history and mechanics of the whole lock system on this stretch of the canal. Parking is easy, and there is a cafe nearby. Unsure about toilets, but assume there are some near the cafe.
