  • Batsford Arboretum is a truly spectacular place. The balance between "immaculate" and "wild feeling" is just right and is is very pushchair (and wheelchair) friendly. Our children aged one and three....  more

  • Lovely afternoon spent walking the grounds. Quite hilly in places, but there are walks on the flat. Most paths are suitable for mobility scooter. There are lots of information boards, which make things interesting and informative. Large restaurant inside and a cafe outside, with open air cover. You are given a map, but it would be useful if the put signs to areas, as map not always obvious.
  • Amazing grounds to walk through. No picture can really do this place justice. Pathways are really easy to follow and well kept, as are the surroundings. Great for kids and has a play area for the little ones. The restaurant is a fair size and good quality food. You need to visit this place to appreciate its beauty.
