Perfect day trip for small children. Variety of trails for all ability levels. We recently attended an evening event with free ice cream, arts and crafts, and live music. Loved it! Please do this again! Great interactive exhibits that peak interest.
Cool nature reserve, went during Lupine Fest and met many cool environmental right advocates. Lovely people with a great mission; who doesn't want to save their home, keep it's natural beauty? If you are looking for a nice trail, some education on local wildlife/fauna, or just a nice view, this is a wonderful place hidden right under our noses in the capitol of New York! I think the Albany Pine Bush Preserve is a must see for all locals!
