Attended a BSO rehearsal on Thursday. Terrific event. The orchestra rehearses and the audience gets to watch. Very casual and lovely. Prior to the concert, there was a talk about the music selection. Very nice. PS. My pic shows only a few musicians on stage.

Oh, what a beautiful night of music this was! The evening included a Ravel piece, an American premiere of a new work commissioned by BSO by a French composer and Rachmaninoff's full Symphony #2...gorgeous (especially the 3rd movement). The space was beautiful, too, with it's lush acoustics and stately statues along the walls. So glad we took our 2 teens in spring break vacation!
