Learn about the life and achievements of one of the founding fathers of the nation at Hamilton Grange National Memorial. The former home of the statesman was relocated from its original spot in the country, restored, and reopened in 2011, which is all captured and explained in a short video you can watch on the ground floor. The accompanying exhibit interprets Hamilton's rise from an orphan in the Caribbean to George Washington's right-hand man. Check out rooms on the second floor to admire period furniture, which includes some Hamilton family originals as well as historically accurate replicas. • I hope I can be in the room where it happened someday.
  • Very nice but small museum in the basement of the house. The video was well done and very informative. They have tours and open houses for the upstairs. We took a tour and enjoyed it very much. The space is small and the tour is short but still worth doing. Some of the furniture and accessories are reproductions but many are original. The only negative is they will not allow you to go to the second story due to no secondary exit. I know this is not their fault but a result of safety regulations. Still disappointing.
